Singer Sewing machines were created by Issac Merritt Singer in 1851. The Singer Sewing machine has the highest brand awareness of all the sewing machines on the market.

 My first sewing machine was the Golden Touch and Sew from back in the 1970's.

Though, I have not sewn on it in 20 years, I still have the machine.
