Have old sweaters that you can't wear anymore?

Why not turn them into doggie sweaters? 

    Have you ever bought a sweater for your dog in a pet shop or specialty shop? They can be very expensive.

    I found a pattern that takes an old sweater and turns it into an adorable sweater for your dog.

    It's Simplicity 2755. It has 3 different views, one of which has a hood. Way too cute! The pattern is catagorized under the "Go Green" tab.

   You can see my 18 month-old puppy, Britania, modeling a sweater I made from an old cartigan using the pattern.

     The pattern comes in sizes extra small (4-8 pounds), small (7-11 pounds) and medium (10-31 pounds).

     It took less than an afternoon to make and she's ready to go out into the cool air.
