How To Sew a Simple Eyeglass
Case
Materials:
4 rectangles of fabric, 4"x8" each
2 rectangles of batting, 4"x8" each
Instructions:
Case Front and Back:
Place 2 pieces of fabric right sides together with a batting
rectangle under the wrong side of one fabric piece. (You can use 2 different pieces fabric--one for the
outside and and a different one for the lining.) Sew along the top with a 1/4" seam allowance. This will be the
front of the case with the lining attached.

Flip the fabric so that you have both right sides of the fabric
on the outside and the batting is in between the 2 pieces of fabric.

Baste the open sides 1/4" from the edges to secure the fabric and
batting.

Repeat this step for the back of the case.
Assembly:
Put right sides together and stitch both long sides and the
basted end together, 1/4" seam allowance.

Turn case right side out.
You're now ready to slip your glasses into the case for safe keeping.

*The size of this case is for standard sized glasses. You
can modify the size to fit your particular glasses.
